Gábor Csikós (consultant on interpersonal and cross-cultural understanding)
Gábor’s role in the project is to lead and to support the design of structured learning opportunities for interpersonal and cross-cultural understanding. In doing this he largely builds on his experience as a facilitator and mediator gained while working with groups of different backgrounds. As a former international relations coordinator in higher education for 3 years and as a current Organizational Development Coordinator at an international foundation, he has a reputation for dealing with challenges and solving problems that have a complex background of personal, social and cultural factors. Additionally, born in Hungary, Gabor facilitates the engagement with Hungarian stakeholders.
“I believe that to be able to find a common ground and to create mutual understanding, we need only two things: first, to have the curiosity and the desire to know how the complexity of other differs from mine, and secondly, to be able to share my way of complexity with them. It sounds easy, yet it is the most challenging mission we could ever have. ”
